Privacy Policy

EXIF Guard is built privacy-first. This policy explains what we do — and pointedly do not — collect. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and the EU GDPR.

Your images never reach us

All metadata scrubbing and analysis happens entirely in your browser. Image files you drop into the tool are processed on your own device and are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, logged, or seen by our servers. There is no image data for us to lose, sell, or hand over.

What we do collect

Email addresses you voluntarily submit to join the early-access or paid-plan list, used solely to contact you about your account and the service. Anonymous, privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page views and events, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles). If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processors (Razorpay for India, Stripe globally) collect billing details under their own privacy policies; we never see full card numbers.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing the address below. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
